Founders

Robert “Pete” E. Cline, CPC, NLP Master

As a successful surgical weight loss patient, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to experience a powerful shift in my own beliefs about weight loss during my post-op care. I have been an active participant as well as a staff person for numerous experiential seminars in the past 5 years.  As an active participant, I was able to work on who I was and who I wanted to be.  After staffing over 30 seminars, I am thrilled to coordinate experiential seminars for MMES.  Now, I am also in private practice as a Certified Performance Coach (CPC) and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Master.

Diane E. Wallace RD, CDE, RMT

Changing your old thought processes into new improved thinking is the name of the game.

As a coordinator for diabetes and weight management programs working with hundreds of patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I believe it is essential for patients to learn useful mind tools to assist in their journey to manage health-related problems.  My expertise in helping people manage their disease successfully continues to evolve.   In the past 14 years,  I began working as a dietitian in several hospital settings, physician (internal medicine, endocrinologist, and surgical) offices and private practice.  My passion is helping people successfully self-manage their diabetes and/or weight management through a team approach and lead a happy and healthy life.

Professional Team

Karry Millette, BS in Kinesiology, CPT

I have had the opportunity to have several roles in the field of health and fitness including professional trainer, group instructor, and health club general manager. I have had the opportunity to help many obese individuals both get started on realistic exercise programs and successfully execute these exercise programs that transfer to lifestyle behaviors. Reassessing realistic goals and understanding exercise progression for obese individuals is imperative for any successful program.

Stacie Bussey, BSN, CNOR, RNFA

Since assisting laparoscopic bariatric surgery 4 years ago, I have found that bariatric patients need to have a more multi-disciplinary approach to care than other general surgery patients. Because these patients require assistance in changing old behavior/habits and beginning new ones, it has been very important in our practice to have our patients meet with a dietitian, psychologist/lfe coach and exercise physiologist. I really believe nurses need to be aware of the needs of the bariatric patient so proper follow-up can be coordinated. I also value the coaching aspect as it has helped me learn how to counsel my bariatric patients at office visits more effectively and efficiently.
